Konica Hexanon AR 50mm f1.7 (AE, latest build according to the buhla site)
Does anyone know of a "visual" guide, somewhere, on how to open and remove the front lens element(s) for this lens ? (I'm not extremely brave in this respect!)
I bought one (cheap) and upon meticulous exploring the glass it seems to have something like the dried mark of a what could have been a water (condensation?) drop inside the front element. It is very difficult to visualize but it certainly is there. I certainly hope it is not fungus but it does not have the distinctive "texture" of that.
I seem not to be able to find anything beyond a simple and not very detailed verbal descriptive procedure or a method to open the back whcih doesn't help much of course.
Thanks for any pointers ! |

Thanks but I found all those with google ... or the links are broken or, as I said, the info is minimal descriptive in a verbal way ... no clear cut solutions I'm afraid. |

Thanks very much ..
For general info ...
BTW the only "reasonably" pointers that I could find were
http://www.cameralabs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26656
but the pictures were removed .. I seem to remember that this person was or has been posting on dpreview as well. I may try to track him down
and a less informative message on a German site
http://www.digicamclub.de/showthread.php?t=15138
TIA |
