I haven`t seen this lens around here before. I got it today, but have not had a chance to test it out yet. Anyone with experience?

Nice one Lars!

haven't seen that so far, so I'm looking forward to seeing some results! Surprisingly fast (f2.8 ).

Very nice...

I think it is a pretty rare lens with less than 2k produced.

- How much did you spend on it?

lovely lens, congrats Lars, price sounds good too.
curious now to see your takes!

Yup, price is good, the only thing it might need is a hood, I haven't seen anything about it's flare resistance, but if it's like my Pen F 38/1.8 you'll want one if you shoot with the sun in front of you.

Thank you guys, I discovered some haze in the lens, so it has probably lower contrast because of this. It is somewhat similar to the Chiyoko Super Rokkor 45mm f/2.8... Early tests shows some glow too and IQ is not in the same league as the Olympus Pen 38mm which is a fantastic performer!

Well, I had a cleaning day yesterday and removed haze from several lenses including this one, and wow... It looks to perform quite nice after that! Samples will follow soon Very Happy

Here is one early shot wide open, straight from the camera, no pp or sharpening just resized and saved.

100% crop from above

Very good indeed.
Interestingly your lens is only 3 production numbers away from that listed in camerapedia

Thank you! Yes it`s a nice lens IMO (visually, almost like jewelery). Very well built, small and heavy with silky smooth focus. The only thing I don`t like is the aperture, too small and difficult to grip! Very Happy

IQ after cleaning is good, decent contrast, good sharpness and nice bokeh. The glowing and blooming seems to have disappeared.

Oh no Lars, don't EVER grip the aperture, but use the aperture LEVER PLEASE!! Works MUCH easier Wink

Yes, very nice, much like Pen F 38/1.8.
I think that actually touching the aperture by definition is very hard to do since it's an opening, the apertur blades or iris on the other hand is much easier to touch.
