Hi colleagues,
I lost a couple of opportunities of getting cheap Olympus bodies (E510 and E330) and lenses. Now I've been offered an e300 body at a very attractive price, so I'm thinking on completing my toolbox with such a camera.
Since most of my lenses are M42, I was thinking on complementing it with a M42 to 4/3 Dandelion adapter.
I've been told the E300 has the best colouring on all the range, so my question is,
Do you think it's worth this option, to try the Olympus digital world?
Do you think it makes sense, having the 350D nicely working with the Katz-eye focusing screen?. (The Pentax K110DS is committed to a different "project" and I won't have access to it in a long time, maybe forever).
I'd appreciate very much your comments.
Kind regards,

Hi Jesito
I had the e300 and it took fine pictures in terms of resolution and colour. My problem with it was the 2x factor - which made getting something approaching "normal" difficult - the 35 was an effective 70 and that's too wide for normal. If you are not bothered by this - then it makes a sensible addition in terms of quality etc.

Jes, for having the most versatility of manual focus lenses including Konica's
excellent line, I highly recommend the e300! If mine broke down today, I
would get another, immediately. I have yet to get VGR's dandelion adapter,
but looking at his pics it is no doubt a worthwhile expenditure.
Post some pics when you get it!
