You should have it at least a week maybe 10 days before Christmas, or
I post negative feedback to seller!

Bill / Attila
I found they shipped very promptly with two day delivery. Certainly beat my adapter by a few days. It's a neat looking machine. AndBil is quite right about the prices. I shall wait too -since my son-in-law asked me to hunt one for him.

Jes, prices are bound to fall after Christmas, but decided to go ahead
and get one for Attila's girls when the circumstance finally presented one
under $200-(girls no matter what age, don't thrive on disappointment! ).
If you could wait till January, I could get one for you the same way as
Attila, up to you. Would be considerably cheaper than the Pentax.

Thanks a lot Bill, not in a hurry anyway... I've a lot of work to do with the rangefinders yet. Yes, can wait until January without problems.

I thought I'd shove it back in to give Patrick some idea of what he can expect ....
Would you believe that there are outsiders who doubt the quality of this lens? |

Jes,
I'm confident of finding one at a very good price come January. I'll keep
you informed. I don't know why these cams are going for what a point
and shoot costs, but I think it's because people have a problem with how
they look. To me, I could care less, performance is everything.
@Bob: yes, amazing what people think of old manual focus lenses...their
loss is our gain!

I appreciated your kind gesture - and that is quite a picture to emulate, when I can . Hopefully soon. I am waiting for two adapters - Pentacon 6 / Nikon and M42 / Oly 4/3. Rats

Patrick, Bob's gesture was only semi-kind, since he took that pic with his
voluptuously wide-assed Canon 5D. Our 2x crop cams aren't going
to get there from here...
Of course, the nice little lens does screw onto a Pentax Spotmatic...

@ Patrick: There's no need to emulate it or feel the need to - it's a sample image and as Bill points out it was done on FF digital which hopefully shows how good this lens can perform in the areas that a crop sensor doesn't see.

First time I've heard the 5D being described as being voluptuously fat arsed. |
