I will be flying to the US on business for three weeks starting tomorrow. So I will likely not be around much; reading photography forums is frowned on during meetings Smile

but I hope to have access some evenings from the hotel.

Just letting you know.

Lightweight travel kit: D40, CV40, Nikkor 135, hood, flash diffuser, spare battery, charger, 4 * 2Gb SD cards, card reader. Probably Nikkor 20mm f/4 plus HN-2 hood. May take the Mir-24N as well for variety.

recommend visiting the house that Vanderbilt (Biltmore) but it is 250 miles

Business trips are not so exciting, but sometimes one gets some spare time for shooting pictures. I did work for a north-american company some 20 years ago and I appreciated very much that they were very strict with the time schedule, so everybody was out of the office at 5:00pm, (not like here...).
