Before. Any contrast adjustment or sharpening would alter the noise profile; so its best to take a raw image, convert it to AdobeRGB at 16 bits, save as a 16 bit TIFF, Noise Ninja, and then continue to process the result.
Note for Nikon Capture NX users, Noise Ninja discards some EXIF data with Nikon Capture would retain. Photoshop users on the other hand would not care, since PS discards so much more anyway  _________________ Camera (ˈkæ mə rə), n. Device for taking pictures in bright light
