Typical colors of Provia - very true to original scene, and no garish greens or yellows, which can sometimes be a problem with Velvia.
No alterations to the image other than cropping. The Provia renders the blues in the river a bit too strong when shooting laterally to the sunlight, but all other colors are true.
I fooled around with the shadows before finally settling on keeping it original out of the camera. I really love the unheralded 55/2.8 lens.

I did get away to British Columbia's Coastal Range, flying in by

Hi Fish: No firearms. If I had a firearm, especially a pistol, I would
probably end up shooting myself! However, we DID have very
highly-rated Grizzly spray which has been proven in Alaska to
stop Grizzlies for a few minutes, allowing enough time to (hopefully)
get away from the bear.
