Infinity shoots are at F8, close distance shoots are wide open, straight from the camera just resized.
I don't understand why this lens lot cheaper than other 35mm f2 lenses ? Looks like fine lens really.
As always click on pictures and look them on full screen in the native browser window, to see the quality of the lens.

I have the older Pre-AI 35/2 O.C and it's surprisingly good, sharp and an interesting rendering, I just don't find that I use my Nikkor, Pentax(& Takumar), or my X-Fujinon lenses that often because they focus the opposite way.

All old non AI nikkors are excellent, their price less due they are non compatible with many new DSLR, I love them.

I think low price due to big supply. Smile. Yet another Nikkor I would buy.
