Does anyone know if the light meter electronics of Nikkormat are on top of the prism or somewhere else?
I bought a "parts or repair" one that has "a huge bump" on the prism housing. Light meter don't work.
Cost $10. Works fine mechanically.
Is there any idea to open top cover to see if there is something obviously wrong or do I just shoot happily B&W with sunny 16 and light meter?
edit: ok, there is no "electronics" but just couple of things

question still remains: open or not? looks pretty complicated camera
