I have been trying to get one on ebay for ages but someone always outbids me. Even the earliest versions of this lens are in great demand due to their wonderful reputation. I would dearly love one.

I had before early one 85mm f1,8 NON-AI, lovely lens. I sold because I have several Carl Zeiss Pancolar 80mm f1.8 and I found better than this lens. AI mount makes me to interesting this lens, because I never seen before and it will works fine with my Nikon FA.

Whew! I was beginning to think dark thoughts that you wouldn't receive it!

Glad to help, Attila, but in light of Andy's known munificence, I'm pretty
small potatoes! Laughing

Hope the lens works well for you,

Bill

Great glass - this is only important nothing else. I love to use AF lens if quality is same than old MF lens. I never could afford 10x more price for same quality than old MF lens.
