Hi Mattias,
I have the T5, it is a nice automatic camera with great results on slide, precise metering in all situation and a superb lens (110 lines/mm)
The problem is when you push the button, you have to wait 1 second for the lens to extend and the photo to be taken.
When I had the canon 50e, the difference of quality was so great that I used the T5 even more than the dslr
Now that the price are ridiculous, maybe it is better to find a manual and faster solution |

I have the T4, for well over 10 years, bought new. I agree with poilu, the shutter delay is a pain. There is a setting for infinity lock but I never remember to use it, so I don't really know if it makes a difference.
The lens can exhibit some vignetting and the geometry is fairly good. I like the camera and use mine pretty often. The shutter delay is less than with my Fuji F10 digital, actually: with the Fuji I've invariably moved on on the street when the exposure actually happens... with the T4 that doesn't seem to happen nearly as often. _________________ Camera Fetishism:

I've always been tempted to get one of these, I like the T4 model in
champagne gold(?) but they seem to go for crazy money on the 'bay.

Mattias, good plan! Here's the model I'd like to get for my wife:
Click here to see on Ebay
You think if I offered him $150 he'd give me an answer? Yeah, I don't think
so, either! |

I got the older T2 to replace my T3 that was stolen. It really is a nice little snapper with the same CZ tessar lens. There is no long delay just a tiny pause. The thing cost me $8 at a goodwill type store. It has lasted many years. It will probably last many mor as I rarely even use it. ......... I don't even know where I left it |
