Orio

Talking about the italian artist who designed your artistic monument in your hometown. Was he Corrado Feroci? If yes, you should be proud of him as he was the father of modern architecture in Thailand, designed many important buildings and even has a stutute built for him after his death. In fact, whether yes or no, you should.

Regards

No, his name was Galileo Chini. He was the most important Italian artist of the so called "Art Déco" style.
I made a series of pictures of the building, about a couple of years ago, I will post them for you, you will recognize the influence of the Thai art.

I don't know of Feroci, but I will surely inform myself.

Galileo Chini:

(Italian, but you can use babelfish translator)

He worked several years in the court of the king of Thailand and decorated the Palace of Throne in Bangkok.

Look bigmango, I have opened a gallery thread on the building:

For the moment there is only a global view, but I will add soon a gallery with the details.
