well... of course because I liked it most, not easy to describe. I saw this and already had this feeling it will be the winner. What you did worked very well for me.. the color, the drawing like effect made my photo very different in a good way. Oh and it also got the highest rating _________________ Regards

Thank you Jan, for kind words and your explanations.
I shot this poto with Olympus Pen E-P2 and Lumix 14mm in old town of Boulogne sur Mer.
I like it a lot. Just regret the lens' defaults. As you did, I made adjustments for the light values, and corrected the distorsion which is too important.
Edgar, I really like your eye seeing a lot. Always interesting point of view.
Well done M8 _________________ Olivier - Moderator

Well, ladies and gents, it's time to proceed.
I liked Edgar's different versions, and Jan's colour version with vertical corrections but regret the effects in the sky.
Snodge did a decent B&W version with some cropping.
After all, I choose Snodge's version.
Thanks to all for participating.
Please Snodge, it's your turn. _________________ Olivier - Moderator

The 5D3 is technically weather sealed, but I think it needs the lens too. As it was the lens is a Zeiss Planar f/1.4 for Canon, and no water hit the front of the lens! Me on the other hand...! _________________ Hugh

I really like the monochrome version, and it was a toss-up between that and the swirly effect that Edgar did - and in the end the swirly one by Edgar won out, so well done Edgar! It was nice to see an effect that dramatically changed the look and feel of the image and yet you could still see details in the scene. _________________ Hugh
