Started using manual lenses almost at the same time when I got my first DSLR (2010), after trying out different makes/brands I primarily collect/use Soviet glass, I find them exceptionally good value vs other and history behind them can be very interesting as well.

This is how my collection looked at one point, then I sold some of them and a few I have the biggest regret ever one in particular was Lomo Cinema lens converted to M42 RO60-2, one of the forum members here bought from me on Ebay (yes, you know who you are, I'll double you the price you paid for Very Happy ).
Lesson learned, never sell lenses you love.

There are 4 copies of Helios 44M-2 Laughing? You must love this lens as I do Laughing
Helios 44M-2 is the my first MF lens and also the cause of my addiction to Soviet lenses. I really admire your collection, that's my dream!
How about collecting the whole Helios 44M series LOL? I have 44M-3, 4, and 7, it's fun to see how they're different, but I love them all.
You may need Vega-11U also, because it's the cheapest but still delivers high IQ, and it's really tiny. That's my first choice for macro lens.
I also owned two Jupiter 9 (M42 and M39) copies but I was quite disappointed with the quality, they're not really sharp until f/4 and get flare very esily Sad
How about Jupiter-3 50/1.5? I wished that I found it here but I don't see it. I'm seeking to buy this one but not much information I can get. This lens is quite rare and promising.

I believe SV700 doesn't use mirrorless camera, that's why no Jupiter-3 or other RF lenses.

SV700, how did you have adapted OKS and other projector lenses to M42?

You have been unlucky, I have a Jupiter-9 and mine is plenty sharp enough wide open.
Yes they are prone to flare but a cheap hood soon fixes that. Wink

Oh, that's why Surprised. I don't have much information about this lens or how it can be adapted to DSLR.

I bought one from Ukraine, one from Hong Kong, so frustrating. Anyhow, it was my favorite for a while and I already equip one with hood, it did helped.

Welcome here, great to see you! Very nice impressive collection of russian glass!!

You seem to like doing videos, judged from the follow focus mounts. How's that?

It can be mounted (it's 39mm screw mont), but it will be only macro (no infinity reached, or portrait distance)

Thank you, I knew it can be adapted since it's M39. I also have few M39 lenses, they're all good. What a pity, maybe I'll try if I buy a mirrorless camera Embarassed
By the way, may I ask what the colorful plastic rings attached to some of SV700's lenses are? Base on how they attached, at least they will prevent the lenses from collapsing Laughing

I think it's what Klaus called "follow focus mount" Smile . I guess it's made for make focus more smooth and easy.

Thanks, I own a few more 44-2's, Very good lens (I actually own all 44 series except 44-5 and rare 44-7 not the more common 44M-7).
I really like Industar 55U (140mm) and I58 (75mm). Vegas are nice but Industars have better rendering imo.
As to Jupiter 9's I own 5 total and all of them are very good @ f2 except the new MC version which is quite soft.
Here's a shot of f2.8 I think with J9 (non MC)
Pentax K10D

Here's one at F2 (silver M39~SLR)

As pointed out, I don't use mirror-less camera, so no RF lenses.

Some I bought it that way some I used focusing helicoid and step up/down rings.
Like this one.

OKC1 90-1

Thanks for the information about OKS lenses! I also like Industar-58U, I think I have the simpler version to adapt :

Only need helicoide (I have the same like yours on your pictures) and step-up rings.

Soviet Nikon collection.

...and from 1979 to 2015, new 40-2 are MC, I though they weren't. Both are exceptionally high quality in build and glass.
