hi

today i made a photoshoot session with Orestegor (i think i fell in love with it) for my other passion. My "first" passion, cars Smile

As i know lot of people does not appreciate photograhs of cars, i do not post in gallery.

I love cars, mechanic and driving. I own some cars and i like to take photographs of them.

today some shoot of my 205 GTI. The cars is not perfect at all, when i bought it the goal was to get a trakday car, so doesn't matter if it is not perfect... nevertheless it is always "aaa" Smile

Don't worry, i will not post lost of pictures of cars.
Just some picture made with MF lenses Smile

My goal when i shoot cars, is to try to get the skill of photographers from Car Magazines.... but i think the road is still long to end.... Embarassed

todays photoshoot :

a few dark

Cars are very difficult to shoot - but I am willing to bet that there are several enthusiasts on this forum. I shall check out some that I have taken

I'm far from a car fanatic but I can appreciate good pictures of an aesthetically pleasing car. I think most people here could see the merits of well done car photos - not everyone is into landscapes, architecture, pets or even candids, but we all can appreciate the skills demonstrated.

Very nice pictures, and interesting cars!

Don´t laugh, but I like the picture of the Renault 21 (?) best, there´s only a bit too much red in it, I think you could enhance it even more. The grey colours and the grain give it an intense and wonderful atmosphere.

I like the Porsche photos as well, very minimalist, in abstract surroundings, the silhouette of the car appears like a sculpture.

With the Peugeot 205 GTI, I would try to use a wide angle. The car needs more perspective. You chose very nice settings, but I would have tried a 20mm.

Greetings
Benedikt

I love the picture, but the car was not in good condition. some months before someone destroyed the driver door. After that i never fixed the whole car...
last novembre it goes to junkyard.

I am not fan of wide angle shoot for cars, too much deformation

But last week it did that with a A310 V6 on a old cars meeting
(sorry not MF)

Very nice azure blue...

For cars (I´m a fan of the 60s and 70s Mercedes cars), I mostly use a 24mm Nikkor, but these are only quick and dirty captures, not working with the car like with a model like you do.

These are some car shots I´m happy with.

Hi Nelson,

I love cars too, but I only own one... Embarassed

As Patrick said, cars are very dificult to shoot, but we can try, can't we? Smile

I think that the success starts by isolating the car from the environment, either by blurring the background, or by choosing a very simple scenery (like you did with the Porsche), or just by making a panning, very common in commercial pictures.

From your pictures, I like most the 4th in the Peugeot series, and the Porsche ones. Next time try to turn the wheels a bit. The straight wheels on the Peugeot make it look too "rigid".
