|
|
I am selling my MIR-24N, the backup copy.
It is a better copy than the one I am going to keep - I'm not kidding.
Optically they perform identical - unable to spot differences.
Externally the copy I am selling is much better:
- looks much newer
- has the CCCP quality star printed on the barrel (mine hasnt)
- focusing ring runs smoother
- the mount is perfect (my copy was damaged by an idiot previous owner)
So why am I selling this one?
- I can get more money, it's like new
- I am sentimentally attached to my first copy, that I will never sell.
Only drawback of the copy I am selling, it has ONE (1) big dust spec inside, near the border of front lens. Needless to say it is completely invisible in pictures, also because probably it is even outside of the FOV of the lens (it is really close to the metal)
here's the picture of the one that I am selling, you can see the dust spec:
VERY special price for group fellows: 55 Euros plus shipping.
If not sold soon, it will go on Ebay for minimum 70 Euros.
P.S. the white thing you see on the barrel is one Melissa's hair. And think that this time I even remembered to blow the dust off before shooting!

The aperture ring tells me it's a Nikon F-mount...

Yes, correct.
Also the name tells it (N is for Nikon)

Ahhhhh... Learn something new every day. Thanks for the lesson...
But the PIC told me everything I suspected.

Surely a great lens and a very good price, but since I got your Nikkor, I think I will never need another 35mm again! _________________ There are two kinds of people in the world: those who divide the world into two kinds of people, and those who don’t.

Just a reminder, that this lens will go to Ebay in 2-3 days, so if you are interested, these are the last days.
It's a good and fast lens, people knows it, I will also advertise it well, showing my best pictures taken with this lens, so once on Ebay, 90% chances it will go on the first pass.

It is for sale on Ebay now.
Click here to see on Ebay
A question: how do you make an active link inside the auction pages of Ebay?
I used to know that, but now I have forgotten.
I put a link to a gallery of samples, hosted on my server, but I can not make it active on the ebay page.
Any solution? _________________ _

Actually, I think you're not allowed to do so. Two of my auctions were cancelled because of active links in the descriptions. In Germany they even cancel auctions with "inactive" links (like yours). _________________ There are two kinds of people in the world: those who divide the world into two kinds of people, and those who don’t.

Really? I was not aware of this. It is quite some stupid rule. If some images help to sell the lens, everyone benefits from it, including Ebay. _________________ _

Of course it is silly. Well, ebay is not really the cathedral of rationality, is it?
I could not understand their reaction, either!
