I'm not even thinking about closing the aperture it's amazing! Very sharp in focus and very blurry and smooth in defocus! Contax Planar has more busy bokeh, more like my SMC Pentax M 50 1.7, this one is something completely different .

Depends what you are after, the Zenitar has nicer bokeh but the Planar is sharper with better contrast and pop. Saying that, the first shot in this series certainly has some pop about it
Once again, great series and some of the best shots I've seen with this lens! _________________ Graham - Moderator

Wonderfull images! I am also interested in this lens to mount it on a dslr like a Nikon D7000 or D800 with an adapter but i was wondering about the performance of this lense for landscapes. Will this lens shoot sharpness in the whole shot at f.i. F5.6-F8? Can you show us some photos with these (high) F-stops? There isn't much info on the internet about this lens.
Thanks and keep up the good work!! |
