Well, it arrived yesterday. Externally in very good shape, but internally not so. A mercury battery was left in, so the battery cap is ironed to the battery, I was unable to remove it.

Any ideas on how to stop the rusting process?

The contacts at the battery holder almost destroyed. This can be fixed replacing them. An old PC motherboard should provide the contacts (from the battery holder). I would need to disassemble the camera. Maybe time as well to place a battery regulator inside, to take benefit of the SR44 1.5V batteries.

All the seals are degraded, but this should'n be a problem since I've also received the Jon Goodman's sealing kit.

Let's see if I can bring it back to life....

I'll post some pictures later.
Best regards,
Jes.
