Congrats, Andy, nice catch! Let's see some pics after you wipe the drool off! Wink

Gee, the guy didn't want to include the Contax cam, wonder why...

Thanks fellas. I am very curious how this one stacks up against the zuiko as well. I will do a comparison on the 40D and post results. Of course it will not be FF. It will still be an interesting comparison.

Congratulations. I think that was a very good price for this lens!

Thanks Carsten I think at least it is a price where I can re-sell it easily enough.

@ Bill
I hope you did not remove your original comment for my benefit. I thought it was funny. And I feel that way all the time when I see the bargains this group finds. Cool

I did, Andy, I thought it was a bit over the top and might be taken wrong.

But I'm glad you got that lens (is my nose getting longer?) and hope it
arrives in good shape! Wink

I sold this lens!!

It seems it went to a good home, so the low winning bid doesn't hurt as much now.

I sold it because I'm pretty much exclusively using a Canon 40D (tho' the 5D is becoming attractively priced...almost affordable...I may want to buy the ML 21 back!!) and wasn't using it anymore.

Along with the 21, I also sold a Helios 40:

And the RTS, a winder and some other fun stuff, and will be listing a CZ Contax 28/2.8 when I get back from Italy.

I've used all that to fund the purchase of:
Nikkor - O 35mm f2
Nikkor 55mm f1.2

And this:
Prewar Primoplan 5.8cm/1.9:
