I am looking for this lens for a while and recently lost a bidding on it. My mistake for being too much of a cheapskate.

A seller from Ukraine responded to a question I posted in that he can include a Kiev 88 to P6 adapter (for additional U$D 15) with the Mir-38B for Kiev-88 he is selling (linked below). Do you think that is advisable to get this, as to be used on EOS, there will another adapter to it? Or should I just wait for one with P6 mount to surface.

My advice is to wait a while unless you are in a great need.
It's not the most common lens but not the rarest either. Every now and then another one comes up.

Thanks. Yeah, my thought exactly. I can wait, no hurry.

What is the difference in IQ between Mir-3 (Mir-3B or Mir-36) and Mir-38B? Both have the same fl and f.
