Old 1964 alu Mir-1 with a helicoid on my A7.
Works alright at close distance. Do you know any other m42 or m39 wide angles that are good for close work?

I really like that set Like 1 small . Thanks for putting them up.

I can't help you on the wide angle question, unfortunately.

Nice pictures.

Actually any reasonable sharp wide angle lens qualifies for close work if you add some extension. The advantage is a better DOF compared to macro tele lenses. Disadvantage is the very short working distance.

Here is an example of a little flower shot with the CV Ultron 28mm/F1.9 LTM/M39 lens at F5.6 on a 10mm extension ring with Sony A7R II:

Thanks!

This also looks good!

I have a Makinon 24mm lens that is quite horrible, but at the closest distance it's sharp and behaves well. I was thinking that there should be some lenses that are better and some worse this close.

In my arsenal I have a Meyer Optik 29mm 2.8 and a Panagor 28mm 2.5 still to try out.
