I have a minolta xd-5 and the shutter won't open on any setting, including O. Any ideas what could be the difficulty?
I have brand new batteries in it, and the LCD and lights do appear when I press the shutter button. The film advance does work. The timer switch seems to be stuck in the far counter clockwise position as well.
