I got a Minolta MC W.Rokkor-HH 35mm f:1.8 (like this one) from hands of its former owner: a big & heavy lens full of metal and glass !

Here is a quick sample taken with it hands placed in a PK -> EOS adapter + EOS 5D, wide open :

Seems a very nice performer at this aperture, can't wait to try to adapt iit for EOS Rolling Eyes

Thanks Attila !
Click on the pic for the hi-res sample. Little noise because of 400 ISO I've forgotten to switch.

I own this lens ... ! Flor27 , don't forget the mill with the lathe ... Let's have a look on OTELO's site and catalog . The 1,8/35 Rokkor hh is wonderful. Among minolta's MD/MC lenses , there are other marvels : 1,7/85, 1,4/50 , 2,5/100 3,5/135, 4,5/200 ... And the 35/105 16 elements zoom ...
two pics : first with the 2,5/100, second with 35/105.

so it is.

It cost me 50 € and an espresso, and I gain an invitation for studio fashion shoots because the vendor is a pro photographer Cool

About the lathe, it's a cheap'n'plastic yet versatile model, built like a LEGO machine tool, it can lathe some soft metal and mill, drill, grind, ... the Unimat 1 classic : http://youtube.com/watch?v=lA-pvZiA5vg
