What an excellent price. I guess if I didn't have the Nikkor 1.2/55, I would jump at it! _________________ There are two kinds of people in the world: those who divide the world into two kinds of people, and those who don’t.

I have both the Nikkor-S 1.2/55 and the Rokkor. I have not done any comparisons but from the pictures I too with both lens, I would say you are NOT going to regret it. I have two units, one converted to EOS and another is reserved. But if you already have the Nikkor, I can only say, the Rokkor will take you 10% nearer to perfection |

IQ, of course. You got both sharpness and creamy bokeh (it's subjective, but in my book it brings me 10% closer the perfection) and none of the other pesky issues of super fast lens, eg. ghosting (glow?), etc.. Just be prepared to have a steep learning curve to focus at f1.2. I still hasn't perfected this, I am more than 50% good for anthing bigger than f2. |
