Some great photos here. Natebarnz, I especially like the one of the red rocky outcropping in Utah and the sunset in Arizona, beautiful shots.

I'm not really much of a landscape photographer, but sharing a few.

Some really nice photo's posted here.

From 10/18/2010. I think I only used the 5DMII a couple of times last year and this was one of them. I have the film bug. Unknown lense.

Blueberry field with the leaves in full autumn color.

Too late. Most of the leaves were gone.

How come I'm only now just hearing about this thread!

Best thread on the internet! Razz

It stormed the other day, I thought the world was going to end. Turns out it didn't storm, they clouds turned out to be so light the sunset blasted all through it.

This is a river bank and it's reflection in the shallow water.

Nuking the colour from it I was left looking at this coral.

Bigger

Well, it reminded me of coral either way. Perhaps I'm just missing the coast.

Also. Top pictures in this thread guys. Wink Keep em coming!

Nice images. First one would be ok, second one not - but don't delete it.

Here again the rules :

Would like to start an additional landscape contest - but in this case a landscape contest with minimal content to show only colours and forms.

That means, no creatures (people, birds, horses, dogs, cats etc.) and no buildings or things made by humans (churchs, fences etc.)

Maximal 5 different elements (like sky, water, grass etc.) on the picture. Target is as described above to find only colours and forms in the landscape. I would recommend that AF lenses are allowed too.

Wink
