Hi, I'll will meet you guys at the port in Tallinn tomorrow - I think I will be able to recognize your group Smile Looking forward to it.

If any of you have a Nikon 50 1.2 AiS that you wouldn't mind bringing along, I'd appreciate the opportunity to compare it to mine - I've been wondering if my sample is normal or somewhat sub-par.

I'll remove it around 22:00 today so write it down.

Some pictures, Nikon D3200 and Nikkors.

#1 Tallinn is an interesting mixture of old and new

#2 Photography museum, Markku, Bhargav and Martin. I think the Sonnar should be with a Contax II rather than Contax I?

#3 Hemmo taking a photo of us taking photo of him.

#4 Keijo doing street photography in the old town.

And here's the links to Arax tilt-adapters:
http://araxfoto.com/accessories/tilt/

The have also ebay-store:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/araxfoto/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

I think the funniest accessory for Arax-cameras is the bag:
http://araxfoto.com/accessories/kiev-60_case/
The camera with Arsat 80/2.8 weight 1,95kg; who would like to have a 900g bag to carry it? In the bag there's room for small accessories, but not for another lens.

Many thanks to you all for the nice trip and meeting at Tallinn and what a really wonderful series of pics Markku from our nice meet.
Especially #9. Beautiful!

I've now developed some my Yashica Mat b&w frames from there. I'll post some of those my 'zone-pics' later.. Smile

Tarkovsky's "Stalker" was filmed at the Tallinn harbour area. If you don't know or haven't seen that legendary movie, you can watch (and step to the zones Shocked Laughing ) from there:

A big thanks from my side to all! Especially Martin for showing us around, it is always good to have local knowledge. And for Timo-Pekka and Markku who had to make long distances and back to make this trip! Hope to see you all soon.

I will process my photos hopefully soon and post here.

It was great meeting up with everybody, a nice day and always interesting to see one's hometown through someone else's eyes - it's pretty odd that I hadn't even seen most of our photography museum before Saturday Shocked

I hope everyone got something out of it - I'm seeing some excellent images already; agree with everyone on Gurdie's #9 and also #4.

Here's one of mine that I liked, the symmetry and going from old to new from front to back:
