I tried this my new lens out on what turned out to be a dark and foggy day.

The Meyer lens has one unusual feature - it comes with a lens hood that has a built-in filter, or maybe its just a protective glass. It looks like a plain glass flat at any rate, not an optical element.

It works rather well, and is of course a very small and light lens for the focal length. I shot everything at f/5.5, so maybe sharpness was not the best possible, but I wanted to compare vs the Piesker Tele-Picon. I have to say that the Piesker seems to be a better lens.

Very good set, imo. Maybe the Tele-Picon is better, but this one has a pleasing quality.
