I bought a beat up Meyer-Optik Görlitz 2923645 1Q Primotar E 3,5/50 - I want to dismantle and clean it...

I need to learn and practice on this beat up copy so that i can eventually service my good copy:

I got it dismantled.... it was a simple thing....
The screw that serves as a pivot for the apperture lever, when unscrewed the whole thing comes appart...

Now that it's clean, i'm working on "dry fitting" the whole set up before i lubricate....

I'm beginning to think that there is a sequence to the puzzle...
Reassembly won't be simple..... without that "recipe"...

We're a long way from the TOPCON RE, Auto-Topcor's simple, yet effective, mechanics....
Of witch i've opened, cleaned and lubed about 20 lenses without these kinds of headaches !

I was once warned of some lens makers overtly complicated mechanics...

Again, if someone as done this before.... say something .... Attila ??, Jessito ???, anyone ??...

Fast tutorial with crapy pictures.....uploaded anyway...

Servicing an Orestegor 4/200 was easy and fun.... this Primotar... not so pleasant...

#1 All the parts...

#2 The apperture level...

#3 The apperture level on it's pin... there is a groove on the pin....

#4 Helicals, lubed and put back together... many entry points....

#5 Cams and springs in there holes....

#6 This ring goes in the part on the right, fits one way only... align the notches with the screw holes...

#7 Apperture swivel in it's notch

#8 Apperture level back in its place, put back both pieces together... that is where you'll need 3 hands...
hold the springs in, fit the apperture swivel on it's pin with the groove and make notches on the inside
ring are aligned with the mount screw holes....

#9 Next is apperture ring, washers will fit one way only

#10 Almost done... with the back caping screwed on

#11 Apperture ring on top of both bearing balls, one for the appreture clicks and one for the A/M switch...

#14 A/M switch and its retaining ring

#15 Done !

#16 Fast infinity test
