It's much more difficult for me to photograph Melissa now that she is free.
I catched this one this evening, with the Contax Planar 2/100 that I recently bought again (I sold my previous one to Carlsson months ago, but I was so sad without it... I had to get one again Rolling Eyes )
This is a wide open shot on moderately high ISO:

crop:

I found this one locally, I think that more will become available when the Canon version of the Z Makro-Planar will be released this winter and people will want to switch. The new Z lens has floating element and works equally well at macro and at long distances. It also has slightly better MTF.
The new Z lens was in my plans, but when I found this one, I got nostalgic...

Compared to my older copy, this copy has more CA wide open in the blurred areas. But I can live with it. It renders images and blur so beautifully, CA becomes secondary.

Orio

Very fine shot and I am not surprised you had to replace the lens. Melissa looks positively catlike Smile Smile Smile

Lovely shot with a lovely lens. So Melissa still comes visit?

She lives at my place, but she is free, meaning that I don't keep her closed, so she comes and goes when she wants - this makes it difficult for me to photograph her because she rarely stays inside the house Smile

Great shot, very clean/clear result. Seems melissa is looking for a nice bird on the other side ...

Cheers

Hi Orio

normally cats are not my cup of tea.
But this image is really outstanding. I viewed it several times because - as tobbsman pointed out - it is very clean and clear.

Not very often I have seen such an image.
