Stanford researchers made a giant array for the Vera C Rubin Observatory that collects 32000 megapixels for each image. That is a lot of data!

I thought this would be about humongous pixels numbering in the millions! Smile

A terabyte per 30 image roll of "film" maybe a lot of data today...

A 32 gigapixel display, now we're talkin'!

I've been keeping an eye on the Vera C. Rubin Observatory, LUVOIR (Large UV/Optical/IR Surveyor), and JWST. (James Webb Space Telescope), LUVIOR would be the closest to a Hubble replacement where as the JWST is only IR, More on Vera C. Rubin here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GvEzzxjbGc
