Yes, beautiful images (as usual!).

Exakta mount? So it's an older model?
Did you seek it out or just happen to find one?

I have one on its way to me currently, to join the 35/2.8 and 58/1.7 from the same series. I believe it is the same optically as the Sekor Nikkorex lenses sold with the Nikkorex F camera.

Thank you for the kind words.
No it just came along and I mused over the mount for a bit.
As Alun has said it seems to have been for Mamiya Prismat and Tower 32A/B series as well
Beautifully made and very nice to use
Here is another pic from today

From a 1965 Sears catalog:

That is a very interesting reprint of the Sears advertisement - thank you.
The 135mm lens is far and away the most expensive option.
Here are a few pictures of my lens:

The feel fit and finish of these lenses is impressive. I also have the 35, 58, and 135.

Nice! This one is missing in my collection. I only have lens parts. Sad

Thank you everyone.
I believe it was a Mamiya made lens and appears as a Nikkorex also made by Mamiya.
Cheers

Mine arrived yesterday. It needed a small piece of fungus cleaned away. The lens has a front doublet, and also what looks from the outside to be a tapered doublet as you'd normally see in a Sonnar derivative lens. But it isn't, when you remove the cover, the geometry is similar, but instead of solid glass it has a front and rear element inside a tapered tube, with a longish air gap between. Sort of a sonnar design but with an air gap instead of solid glass. Interesting. I did a few test shots, nothing as classy as those already shown. I did notice a propensity to have quite bad flare in the image center, only at or near minimum focus, when pointed in the general direction of strong light sources such as the sun (even with the hood fitted, and the sun well out of frame)

Here are some images taken late this afternoon.
The light was fading quickly so I literally ran out of light-time
Images look better if clicked to open on a black background

I would buy that lens for the looks only!

Very nice photo set.

#4 in the first set above:
Long exposure perchance? Looks like seeds or similar drifting by in the wind.
Interesting photo, especially in the fore-ground pre-focus area.

I love working in those last minute long sunrays- great for portraiture, and using this light for backlighting does have it's rewards...

Thanks fellas.
No, it's just a regular exposure from a low viewpoint.
The streaks are spiderweb threads catching the light.
It is an interesting lens where the aperture ring had a lock button which must be pressed in order to change aperture - it then locks at that aperture so that it can't be accidently moved.
It is visible in the rear view of the lens above.

Here are a couple from late this afternoon.
I was in a hurry and may not have held the camera as still as I like to.
Walking stick iris.

Black and white lives yet!

Nice images again.
Those irises are popular here.
It takes very good timing to catch them at that just opening stage.
Nice work!

Thank you - yes they only bloom for one day, and trying to get the light right at the same time as they are open is a challenge.
I spotted them and the sun in alignment while halfway through preparing fettuccini marinara for our evening meal, and raced outside for a couple of quick snaps.
The Mamiya was already on the camera so it had to do

Thank you - yes, sharp enough from wide open, as you can see.
The aperture setting takes some getting used to but works well enough.
It is beautifully made as well

Here are a few from today.
The light was poor so high ISO and its attendant noise.

By chance, I recently bought a Sekor Nikkorex copy of this 135. At the time, I didn't realize it was apparently the same lens as the Mamiya-Sekor F.C. 135 being discussed here - except that the Nikkorex has a Nikon F mount.

My copy appears to have led an eventful life. There are many fine scratches on the glass and there was a M42(!) teleconverter cemented to the mount when I received it. But the Nikkorex did indeed have a Nikon F mount underneath.

Despite the wear and tear, the lens seems to work as it should. And the solid build is really impressive.
The only quibble I have thus far is the release button for the aperture ring. It needs to be depressed to change f stops and its location on the back/underside of the lens makes it difficult to use when the lens is mounted on a tripod.

A couple sample shots:

#3 f/2.8

Beautiful color rendering from this lens.
I hesitate to say typical Mamiya - as the sensor has so much to do with it, but it has certainly repeated the colour experiences that I have had with mine.
Yes the aperture button can be a pain, but - on the other hand - you can't accidently change aperture without knowing it - as sometimes happens on other lenses.
Nice results for sure
Tom
