Hi guys!

I recently got an RB67 ProS kit from eBay with this lens and according to the owner, it is fungused. Anyone knows if it is easy to dissassemble this kind of lenses for cleaning? I've been searching and apparently it has a floating element...

Any advice will be very appreciated! Many thanks,

Cleaning depend in my opinion how badly infected, if just a few spots there , leave it don't clean. With cleaning you risk lens safety and pretty sure coating will be removed. Store right , on low humidity, allow to get enough light and fungus will not growing at all.

According to the seller the fungused element affects pretty much IQ so I think I'll take it to a specialist.

Attila, does really cleaning affects the coating? Even if CLA'd by a professional would imply to lose the coating from the lens?

Thanks for your answer!

I suppose yes, cleaning effectively means use strong chemical to avoid fungus back. Naturally I am unsure, I am not an expert. Try first and if you still not satisfied with result, put to cleaning by pro.
