Hi,

It will not equal Orio's excellent live captures, but here are some pics taken with M42 lenses and the 5D.

Pics in the club are 1600 ISO (exifs sitll there), denoising was only due to resizing with BorderMaker. Lens in the club: Mamiya Sekkor auto 55/1.4 (Tomioka).
The place was very dark, pics look like lighter than it was actually.

Florent, I think they are great!
The atmosphere and the light, the "feeling" that these photos convey makes them a true documentary of this party (so I guess).

Great shots in challenging conditions!

I particularly like the table shot near the beginning of the sequence.

Actually those are pictures for the people taken there, it's not very artistic Wink
Very challenging yes, look at the EXIF to see the shutter speed ...

Thanks for your comments.

I did 3 flash pictures at the begining of the party. Ok, I don't have a good one (non TTL). But that was too "P&S" captures Wink

It's really tough trying to focus in crap light like that but you got it right on most of them, which is an achievement in itself. That 1.4 really showed its worth, I think.

Nice shots, Floriant!.
The colours are vivid and well saturated, and one can feel the party's atmosphere. Nice work!.

I understand that you took these with the premise of just having snapshots in mind, and for sort of testing out the low-light capabilities.

However, in addition to being a great demonstration of the capabilities, it is a great demonstration of the photographer's skill. GREAT work.
