Hello,

Recently I've discovered my love to this lens and took it on almost every shoot. Unfortunately couple of days ago it almost fell to the ground from my desk, FORTUNATELY i've managed to reduce impact of fall with catching it with my foot. It seems its focus ring was somehow compromised by the fall and almost in whole circle its loose. I can rotate it with the usual range, but like 75% of turn is very loose and doesn't make any real focus adjustments. It got stuck in the range of 0.3m to 0.4m. I tried to disassemble it accordingly to Elliot Kang tutorial, but failed to reach the focusing mechanism. Anyone know if there is still a chance to repair it?

Welcome jericho!

I'd look under that rubber focus ring for some loose screws...

Maybe some folks here with more experience will offer more:)
