Hello folks,
Zeiss did publish in an exemplary manner cross-section diagrams of many of their lenses, e.g. Hasselblad, Contax and so on.
I'm looking for Zeiss made lenses with QBM mount documentation similar like those of Contax lenses. I know, that most lens array is similar like Contax mount lenses.
But there are differences e.g. the 3blade aperture of the 1.4 lenses 35mm & 85mm.
Any help is welcome!
Thanks

The best resource I have bookmarked for QBM lenses is Frank Mechelhof's website..

Were the late Rollei optics -like, if I remember rightly, the Alpa prototype 35 and 135-, produced in Singapore? Not much info available on that Zeiss licenced production.

Yes. I remember you have mentioned both of them are made in Singapore. Here is a copy of the 35 in M42 http://www.fengniao.com/secforum/1191586.html . _________________ https://lensfever.com/

Hey, I never knew about these ALPA prototype made in Singapore, lens body looks absolutely like Rollei/Zeiss type.

My 35mm copy is number 25049 so if the Singapore numbering is consecutive, there must have been quite a few prototypes made. (The one pictured is 40 higher). According to Thewes , Pignons did not think the quality was good enough and only ordered test copies, but they seem to have sold some before they gave up this crypto-Zeiss optical connection with Francke&Heidecke alias Rollei alias ? .
I bought mine new a long time ago, possibly at the shop in Geneva which used to have all manners of strange Alpa surplus, and am quite certain that they came in the official Alpa boxes. As packaging just wastes space, I have most probably just thrown it away so I cannot check on whether it was labelled like any other Alpa lens.
