Great! Amazing! I have several OKC1 lenses from old Russian Konvas movie camera, but unfortunately they could not be mounted on Canon EOS DSLR. Sad

I am going to be straightforward with you.

Bokeh is very nice and all but these pics are getting a bit repetitive. You are definitively overusing out-of-focus backgrounds, it's been beaten to death since wide aperture lenses got they're way to photography enthusiasts. Anyone with a Ł10 Helios-44-2 and decent natural light can do this.

In your case I think you can make a whole album of OOF background portraits using different wide aperture lenses that has near to no interest at all since after 5 pics you've seen all there is to be seen on the rest of the 467 pictures on it.

But particularly about these thread's pics and forgetting about the OOF pornography.

Your subjects seem to be making you a favor, please, try to captivate them!
I wanna see them smile or looking other than straight at the camera, they can't wait to get on with their lives, a I don't think that transmits the appropriate emotional component of a human portrait.

Do not take my words badly I tried to be criticize in a constructive way Wink

Beautiful portraits, good lens with a unique strength.
From these examples I made an impression on the lens. Exactly what I'm looking for, an why this forum exists, i guess.
Thanks for sharing this, Bigeyes!

And anyone with a really good eye for composition doesn't care what lens they're using. Personally, I come to this forum to satisfy my nerd side, not my artistic side. The pictures may be repetitive from a compositional standpoint, but they do get out of the way and show the characteristics of the lend nicely.
