Old 5D I with old Leica Elmarit -R 2/8/60mm (bought 2010 for 240 €) sold for 390 € two years later
Not an artistic shot
But pretty sharp lens with nice colours

It's a good sharp lens from macro through to infinity, my only complaint is it's only f2.8 so you don't get as much separation for portraits.

Agreed ,
I liked the lens very much just for a "walk around the town" , always very sharp and consistent colours .

....waiting for my new toy , the Summicron _R 50/2.0 though Smile

best

Armin

You shouldn't complain about something that lens was never designed for....your finger points at yourself Wink

Found some of my first tries with this lens - I came from Videography and had a lot to learn Smile

By complaint, I mean that if I was forced to think of one, all I could come up with is: Not being faster than 2.8 for situations it wasn't designed for.
That speaks very highly of a macro lens... I would think.
