Hello!
I heard the the TTL-meter of Leica Cl and Minolta CLE produces a problem with collapsible lenses. Is that true?
I want to buy an collapsible Industar-50 or a Summar and I wonder if they work with Leica CL or Minolta CLE?

There is a danger that the lens tube may hit the metering arm when collapsed - I think if you Google the topic there will be plenty of info about what's dangerous. Try Leica User Forum as well.

The solution - of course! - is never to collapse the lens Very Happy

Er, silly me - not a problem on CLE as the meter cell reads from the shutter curtains, but very much an issue on the CL.

But the Summarit is not a Collapsible.
I use the M5 which has a similar system to the CL and can confirm... most all collapsible lenses will be a problem unless extended.
