The first five shots out of 10 were dumpers. Went up to Monte Santo at 6am
trying to take shots in the woods with dim light and found out I don't take
very good pictures at 1/2sec shutter speed, figure that! These
are three out of 5 remaining, all were in good focus, but the comps in two
were even lousier than these. Using the Super Omegon 3.5/90 lens:

Koni + Provia = KILLING MACHINE !
All three images have a clarity, breath, sparkle, that speak for themselves and show that with the right tools, film is all but dead !
# 3, in addition to the above qualities, also shows a remarkable correction of distortion. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Thanks for the kind words, Orio. The Super Omegon is an incredible lens,
I think. Today has been a good day: in the mailbox was the Exakta 30mm
lens, my 1937 Bessa is back from the repairman with new bellows (will post
glam pix later) and this roll arrived at Walmart after the standard two week
wait. It only costs $4.88 for developing, and the film was free to begin with,
so is worth the wait. I wish some of the first 5 came out, pictures of objects
emerging from fog, etc, but no dice.
I hope to find the 58mm wide lens soon, and my Koni set will be complete.

The Koni has certainly been an eye-opener for me! I'll be farting
around with the Tele-Omegon, next roll, which is also a great lens.
Just saw on ebay a BIN for $499.95 for the Tele-Omegon. |
