This is using the Super Omegon 90 with above (the only lens you can use
with this). Film is Fuji 400H (thanks, Nesster!):

and here it is:

Thinking about using Noise Ninja on these. I'm not seeing a loss of IQ
using this, which was what I was worried about.

TF and Attila, thanks much, I was surprised with this Auto Up. I was
hoping it would work out for portraits, am still working on some, and
will see how it does with flower shots later, altho I'm pretty tired of
flower shots right now. Laughing

Here's one where he changed expression right when I took the picture:

so focus is not as crisp as the other two...

Also need to compensate more for parallax, dammit.

These were all shot at f5.6 if I remember. Scans at 1200dpi, Epson 4490.

Thanks, again.

Amazing quality !!! And absolutely perfect scanning !

If this does not convince digital camera people to get a medium format film camera too, I don't know what could.

What Orio says. I'm very sensitive to colors and those look very real and lifelike to me. I want to know your secret! Very Happy

Unbeliebable scan quality at 1200 dpi!

Wow, what nice results you got!..

Super result - you don't seem to lose anything with the close up attachment at all! Glad the 400H worked out for you as well, these are some of the best photos I've seen with the film... Yes there's a bit of grain, but those reds!

(I've not been as enamoured with 400H in 35mm, there I tend to get less intensity than I like, though it does seem 'realistic'. 120 is another story entirely.)

Wow, guys, thanks for the comments! Peter, the colors are spot-on in
this, the most accurate rendering I've seen! Nesster, thanks for reminding
me what a great 400 film this is! I used it a few years ago in my Ricohflex,
took a swamp shot that had perfect colors so I'm sold on Fuji
400H. The grain is a little more than Portra, but I think I can put up with
that, after all, that IS a part of shooting film! Laughing

Thanks again, fellas, I have a few more from the roll to work up that I
didn't use the Auto Up, but will post them here rather than starting a new
thread.

My current print film line-up in 120 is Fuji 160S, 400H, and Pro 800z. Slide
it's going to be Provia 100F and 400X.

Here's one more, I took some foliage/berry shots that I won't post, they
were in perfect focus, but who cares. The only shot out of the 10 that
wasn't in good focus is when he changed expression and moved in the
above pic.

light is starting to go, but still accurate colors:

I had a female model all lined up that just turned 20, but her 6'4" BF said
"no". She wanted to pose anyway, but I told her I still need the use of my
arms and legs. Back to the drawing board... Rolling Eyes
