For this type of thing yes. I have done scores of panos in Photoshop CS5 and none meet the quality of Autopano Giga. I'll redo this one in Photohop and see what the difference is...

attempt 2 completely ignoring the right hand quadrant of the wheel

Comparison: Photoshop is on the left. There arent too many differences, I guess this is the wrong photo! The perspective is fixed in Photoshop whereas it can be changed in Autopano. The photos of York Minster are impossible in Photoshop.



I obviously widened the image in autopano and cloned in part of the background to make the format more rectangular. The photoshop version was a quick crop of the orignal render.

Thanks interesting...and surprising that Photoshop (at least in CS6) with their developing team, can't match everything that autopano can do Shocked

There is always a specialist program for everything. PS Couldnt possibly have them all thats why there are plugins.

I use both programs
