It was a second chance offer, and my top bid was $127.55!
Click here to see on Ebay
I posted to ask you guys if this was a good deal, but deleted that post and
went ahead and got this. I've seen the lens go for more than $150, so I
got a free camera body. And this one takes AA batteries (4)! Looks like I
will be buying a new leather coat for it, too. Some nice extras in this
auction...

Nice one you can get the "leathercoats" from www.cameraleather.com, or Aki-Asahi shop on E-bay. Both pretty good I just got leather for a Yashica FX-3 from cameraleather and lightseals for the FX-3 and my TL-Electro from Aki, very speedy delivery to me in the uk too _________________ Digital:Samsung GX-10 Dslr

Here is the FX-3 with the crappy leather removed and the base plate off. Had to remove it to hammer out a dent, so here it is primed and waiting for a spray of black enamel. Will post an after pic when I have done this and put the new leather on. I was really tempted to go for Yellow Snakeskin but chickened out and got plain black instead.

Well, I kind of fell into this one, since I'd lost the auction in the first place.
Hope it's a shooter.
