Received the Zeiss extension tubes yesterday and tried the largest tube
this morning with the J37A:

ant on thistle:



grass buds, maybe each are 2mm across:



cat's eye, soft focus for effect at f5:

You're welcome!
The advantage of the J-37 is that it's sharp wide open, so you don't need to stop down much to get sharp macros (if you can life with the narrow DOF that is)

Thanks for your comments, guys. The wind kicked up and wreaked
havoc on trying any more shots outside, but I hope to experiment some
more with this lens and using different extension tube lengths.
