Jenazoom at Melbourne Aquarium

The good lady finally convinced me to go to the local aquarium and take some pics. Lens for the day was a CZ Jenazoom 35-70 f2.8 which covered the focal range quite well. I can't say an aquarium is an easy place to take photos, low light, inconsistencies with how the different tanks are lit, fish that insist on swimming around instead of staying still when you have very low shutter speeds to work with and the general public who love poking their heads into your photos or using their flashes and kind of screwing up already difficult conditions. The WB is not brilliant but otherwise I did manage a couple of keepers.

OMG what terrible CA that lens has!! Send it my way to safely deposit it.... Wink Wink
(Just kidding of course - great shots! And that CA is caused by that thick
glass window which protects the fishes against the humans)

What awful conditions. Having never managed a keeper in an aquarium, I have to say well done. Missed the one in Melbourne, but did the underwater walk in Sydney.
