The local Italilian bike owners clubs had their annual concourse on today so I thought I'd use my 28-70mm f2.8 Jenazoom to get some pics of the bikes. I even ran into Steve aka RPO from here with his Bimota.

OMG, I'm in lust. Some really nice bikes, but #5 especially. The old single cylinder desmo Ducs just make me get all wobbly inside.

I'm a sucker for classic bikes. I own 7 motorcycles: BMWs, Yamahas, a Harley, and a Norton. The newest is 21 years old, and the oldest is 35 years old. My daily rider is a '76 BMW R90/6. I don't own any Italian bikes, but I hope that will change someday. I'd love to own a Duc from the '70s, or a more modern Moto Guzzi.

Go for it Steve. Looks like I missed that Tesi Bimota which Jane managed to spot and get some pictures of.

These bikes from the 70s were so beautiful!

When I was a kid, the MV Agusta was my dream bike.

Oh yes.

My italian dream bikes were the Laverda and Moto-Guzzi.

Hi John,

It looks like we were both attracted to similar bikes.

Here are a few of mine, taken with Sigma SD14 and Leica 35-70 f4 Vario

This Gilera was stunning

The Tesi 3D was one of only 3 Bimotas.

Really nice JOTA..

Beautiful old Duke..

Yep I do have a soft spot for the older Italian sports bikes. A pity about the rain as some of my favourites didn't turn up this year like that Benelli racer with the dustbin fairing.
Here's some non Italian bikes that turned up in the bike parking area.
