Jardins des Tuileries (Paris), Orio's way

These are from December 2003 and sorry no MF lens, just the 300D and the kit lens (everything I had at the time).
Can you really go to Paris and photograph with just one lens?
Maybe we just got too spoiled lately...

Would love to get back there with my Flek 4/20 however!

sorry the pages have no titles, don't have the time to edit the HTMLs.
I hope that sooner or later some good soul will help me set a Jalbum preset that automatically names the pages and the pictures from the exif comments Wink

Great shots, all of them! I especially like the equestrians, Theseus battling
the Minotaur, and the gate shot, superb! Smile

Thanks Bill.
I really look forward to get back there with my manual lenses. It will be a renewed thrill!
But there's one thing to be said about the poor kit lens of Canon: it lacks detail, it's plastic, etc., but it renders colours beautifully, creamy, subtle colours. It is probably designed specifically for these cameras, I think this is the reason why.

The flek 4/20 would be killer on these, especially the building shots!

Good series ! Colours are great as you said. I would go back to India with a good camera that is so colourful country.

A talented photographer will shoot good photos even with a "kit"-lens!
This your pictures show!!!

Very nice shots, Orio!
