Anyone has experience how to make something like that without a big studio?

It's a screenshot from the "Enter the Void" (psychedelic melodrama) movie. The film has plenty more of scenes with very extreme and never seen camera techniques. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRNpSKsBKw8

Very cool image. I would believe there are several ways to do it, and a studio would most likely be the least cost effective Smile. Better go to the library and borrow photoshop for dummies Smile

Why would you need a studio?
Go downtown on top of a fairly tall building and take pictures.
For the second one you need a teenage room and a UWA lens.

No I have an idea how to this, very time-consuming --- I will try it soon

An ultrawide close up would distort; you need the space for this.

Not new at all, reminds me of Hitchcock. They did it with optical printing back then.

If you don't have enough headroom, nail, screw and glue everything to a wall. If your room isn't long enough, shoot it in parts and add a little PS. The shot of the street is easily PS'ed in.

A tilt/shift lens for the building/street shot and a UVA for the room (maybe from a ceiling window) or hanging from a hook. Maybe Smile
