Excellent!!!

Not the easiest of subjects to shoot nor the easiest of conditions.

@ Tanheis and Orio: I bet the AF boys would cry if they knew someone was shooting a gig with MF lenses and getting results that are at least as good as they might, if not better.

Takes skill.... Cool

Great shots, did you use a split screen? af confirm? or focus bracketing? Or any other way of getting them in focus in such difficult conditions?

Some of my adapters have af confirmation chips.
The ones which doesn't I usually take few shots while focusing to make sure to get the right spot.

Actually with af confirmation it must be done also with swallow dof.
At least my camera tells there's focus when I turn the focus ring very little
which moves the focus distance very little..

Needs a lot of practice to shoot there... and a lot of shots to get the good ones..
I took over 700 photos in 2 days! Smile

You've managed some great shots in extremely tricky conditions.

I tried to keep shutter speed at least 1/150 and quite often between 1/200 and 1/250.. They are moving almost all the time and there is not so much light either so it makes it a bit tricky..

I had to use ISO 800 and 1600 to get shutter speeds high enough.
Many years ago I tried to take concert photos without dslr and it was almost
impossible to get any decent results any way...
With ISO 200 I saw quite much noise and that was maxium ISO to use...
ISO 400 was way too noisy... And still shutter speeds where too slow Smile

Brilliant work. You managed to really get the best out of the Tamrons. Difficult to focus on blue light too. Well done!
