Using the Konica T4 and UC Hexanon 80-200/4 zoom and Reala 100 film
scanned at 2400 dpi, Epson 4490:

EDITED, one deleted, two added, and now uniform size. Yes, lugged around two cameras on my visit last Thursday.

Love the framing, Bill.

And all of these images are crisp and clean, although I am sure glad that the dinosaur is behind the fence... Shocked

Nice work indeed, what a great way to show the attributes of the lens. Your work is always a real positive experience, Bill.

I LOVE scanned Reala. Smile

oops...the framing went away Shocked .

Larry, you beat me to it. Embarassed I was hoping to have edited in time, sorry.
I'm going to play around with the frames and try to make every pic uniform
in size. Thanks for your comments! I'll probably edit these later with the
frames, the plug-in is way cool!

Here it is again:

Thats what I need, "Photo Opportunity" signs to help me out Laughing

I really like the first one, but my eyes keep drifting to the shadowed area on the right.

Wow, Bill, you have got very bright results with the Reala film!.
The colours and contrast shown are excellent. I've been using Reala for some time, because availability and price, (Velvias are three times more expensive) and more difficult to find), but I've never got comparable results...
And about the framing: I like light framings, like the one in pic #5.

Jes.

Thanks, Mike and Jes!

Mike, next time I shoot this, I'll try to think of your wandering eye, sure. Laughing

Jes, I like this Reala, first time I've used this film, very small grain, too.
Agree about the frames, note above. Wink

Nice results, Bill. I like the last two pics (big leaves and bamboos)

That zoom is a keeper!

Orio and Jules, thanks for your comments. Jules, yes, love this zoom and
has the pull-out hood, very convenient!

I agree that the last shot (the bamboo one) is very cool.

Thanks, Alessandro, I've reworked some of these to remove the color cast.

Thanks again,

Bill

Thanks, Poilu, I'm finding that Fujifilm needs some color adjustments,
think I got it almost figured out, now.

Ron, thanks for your comment!

Nice shots - especially the bamboo.

Reala seems one of the best C41's still available.

Richard, I plan on using this film a lot more! Just need to get the color
management down a little better.

That reala seems to be really nice Bill. My local photo store had some kind of slide film but I can't remember what it was. I must check.it out again.

Ron, so far, I by far like the results of Reala over any other negative film
I've used. The tiny almost indiscernible grain is one of its big selling points.
My next stop is Sensia 100 slide film, trying to decide on either the Canonet
or the Oly 35RC for the first run.

Thanks again for your comments.

Sensia is not bad, and easier on the wallet. But I like Provia better.

Orio, I bought 3 rolls of Provia 100F for medium format, I'll remember what
you said. That means every shot I do with it will be a winner... Laughing

The Sensia was really cheap from Freestyle, came in 3-roll box.

Patrick, thanks! I'll be buying a lot more Reala very soon, only have one
roll left.

I like what you've done there, Bill. The colours of Reala are quite punchy. On seeing these I've just ordered a box of 20 Reala.
I've not got a habit, I can keep it down to20 a day. Smile

Dave, Larry's work is a much more compelling argument, but I am quite
impressed with this film. I just about sh&t when I saw the first one after
scanning, didn't have to work the colors at all in that one, just the ones
shot in the shade. Here's another I scanned and worked on last night from
the roll:
