I got my self an Leica Elmarit 2.8/180 (2nd Version) ca. 1982.
Its a beutyful lens but the focus ring has a bit of tolenrance so I imagine that some screws are loose and need to be fixed.
I think I just need to remove the bajonett, Is there any kind of spring that might get lost? I never dismantled a Tele Lens, Is there anything special I have to take care of?

Thank you very much for your replies.

If you hold the Bajonett and move the front part of the lens you can feel al little bit of tolerance in focussing.

Maybee just some screws are loose.

I thoght loosing this screws is the right way to acces the screws which
hold the focus ring. Am I right?

Thank you for your help.

Pictures max of 900px wide, please. The forum software doesn't resize them and it hogs the page.
